If you have reciepts for all those mods, they may cover 20 to 50 percent of them. If you had $20,000 worth of Z, but were only paying insurance for $5,000 worth of Z, then you should be happy with what ever they give you. Otherwise, it's insurance fraud.Remember, you're insurance premiums are paying for the replacement value of the vehicle. Not the replacement value plus all kinds of shit no one knew about. IMHO, take the $5k and run, or present the receipts and back payments for your insurance premiums on the after market stuff that you neglected to let them know about. Again, that's insurance fraud, plain and simple.
